White makes substantial investment in video department.

White Event Production has continued to invest heavily in new hardware with a significant investment in our video department. We believe that video content is key to live events and should be prominent, eye-catching and displayed in the best quality possible, which is why we have recently added the latest LED technology to our expanding equipment list.

Today we announce that we now stock 80sqm of 2.5mm Absen Pro LED panels along with Novastar controllers/processing options. We have the ability to build walls on ground-supported rigging or fly from truss with an additional investment in a variety of new rigging options.

Our stock of 320 new Absen panels allow us to build walls upto 20m wide x 4m high and have already been well received on their inaugural event at Silverstone over the weekend at a large hybrid awards event streamed to tens of thousands of people online. We can achieve full HD and 4K resolutions for all indoor application types and the wall benefits from UltraBlack Technology that allows for superior brightness and contrast making it fantastic for shorter viewing distances.

The units allow us to also build curved walls using the integrated curve technology to create convex(-7.5deg) or concave (+10deg) curves and are super-fast to build and derig using the auto-locking and eject systems. The panels are accessible from the rear and have a magnetic design which makes installing the video wall from either the ground or from above a breeze.

With Novastar’s A8S Receiving card, the screen can deliver up to 3840hz refresh rate, 10bit video, and real 16-bit high grey Virtual Production level colours. We have the ability also to cross-hire the same batch of approx. 80sqm of additional wall if required for large-scale events.

In addition to our new LED wall, we have just replaced our entire LED display screen stock with the latest QM range of 4K screens from Samsung and have added new 98″ sizes to our fleet. We also now stock screen-lifters for our 85″ and 98″ displays to aid lifting on site making things safer and quicker to set up. These displays are bright and are great for all content / use types and are a brilliant addition to our video stock.
