BRIEF
Severn Trent enlisted the help once more from us to support with an education project in which they wanted to ask school children to write a song to promote ‘Hydration’. The successful winners would then receive a full recording studio experience and get to record their song against a bespoke backing track created by our team along with a professional vocal coach.
WHAT WE
DELIVERED
Working with the Education Team at Severn Trent, we supported on the judging panel to find a winning team with the best lyrics around the topic of ‘Hydration’ worthy of the studio experience.
We then worked to create a bespoke backing track to fit the lyrics which was then supplied to the winning school to rehearse ahead of their visit to record.
The winning school children were bought to Milton Keynes via coach where they were greeted with VIP red carpet treatment as they entered our offices / studio.
A professional vocal coach then warmed the children up in advance of them getting in the studio and recording. We supplied full audio recording technical equipment to make the experience as great as possible for the children.
We themed our offices in every way possible including the creation of a catering space and a dressing room experience complete with lit mirrors and plenty of fun photobooth props to play with before a photo shoot.
We event organised for the children to receive a special trip from the ice-cream man at lunchtime.
After the recording took place, our team allowed the children to explore the technical equipment and have a play/learn themselves including the PTZ camera controls, sound mixer / recording software and studio lighting.
The completed track along with singalong “karaoke style” lyrics will be made available by Severn Trent to educate future generations of school children on the importance of stating Hydrated.
