PROJECT
BRIEF
At the start of the virtual communication era, Severn Trent took the company Zoom quiz invitation to another level and proposed to us a four-part ‘Share a Smile’ campaign to keep interaction constant within their company, and spirits high amongst their employees.
ROCKAOKE was the last instalment of Severn Trent’s ‘Share a Smile’ campaign. We needed to create a high-energy, virtual yet interactive karaoke night to entertain and end the campaign with a bang.

WHAT WE
DELIVERED
We built a multi-platform stage with expert performance lighting including an over-sized, custom-built neon tube sign of the campaign logo taking centre stage. The whole night was filmed using high-spec equipment and creative camera angles to inject excitement and immersivity into the evening. We streamed live to over ** people as the talented and charismatic band hosted head-to-head battles such as ‘Finish the lyrics’ and ‘Dancing Queen’. All audio was professionally mixed live, and the artists could see and talk to pre-selected audience members throughout the show.
The battles took place in real-time with no latency issues by entering pre-selected audience members into video calls. Our pre-programed layouts meant we could seamlessly switch to two video callers on screen and side-by-side whilst they battled it out, and the audience could watch live via the pre-communicated web link.
With final finishing touches such as a song request section and a selfie submission solution, it was a fantastic event for all partygoers.
