High Profile Hybrid Press Event

With a short project leadtime, White were tasked with delivering a flawless ‘Town Hall’ style press event for a high-profile worldwide client on behalf of our client Extracom. We had to plan and deliver a perfectly executed event in their London office in a compact space for a physical audience of around 100 employees, plus around 1000 more online. 

Being particularly conscious of working within client offices and a busy working environment, we carefully installed audio, video and streaming equipment that was compact and discreet during the morning, ready for testing, rehearsals and the live event in the afternoon. 

We supplied a distributed active PA system, our cinema-line Sony FX9 and FX6 cameras for a manned and wide shot, plus 2 x Sony FR7 PTZ Hothead cameras which were remotely controlled to pick out presenters during the panel discussion element of the event. 

The event was mixed and streamed via our VMIX rack system and cameras were cut internally using VMIX. The event was broadcast both to a Zoom Webinar, as well as to a HD Vimeo feed utilising our Live U Solo device for ultimate redundancy. 

We also provide the TX programme to the venue which was also distributed around the client offices using their in-house Crestron systems. Crew comms were support by both wired and wireless headsets so that our client and Producer could freely roam with complete clarity of communication with the crew – We used our Altair wireless comms system for this element. 

We also provided stage furniture including our grey fabric bar stools, and acrylic plinths.
