Electricity Distribution Investor Event

Supporting our friends at Aspect Communications with their client, National Grid. We helped deliver the technical element to an intimate but very important VIP event at National Grid HQ on The Strand, London.

After an initial site visit by one of our producers, it was clear the event meeting space was going to be tight and so equipment had to be kept to a small footprint whilst both being functional and discreet. Working with Aspect and their set/staging team, we installed a 12K laser rear projector for the main content, along with dual 75” comfort monitors at the rear of the room for Autocue operations as well as slides/notes.

A discreet EV PA system was installed within the room along with 3 x Sony 4K FR7 PTZ cameras which were chosen to keep the crew footprint to a minimum for the event whilst the cameras were remotely operated from another room in the venue via networking infrastructure we installed.

All personnel except for the sound engineer were running the event from another room located nearby the main space. This included the vision mixer, PTZ operators, autocue operator, show caller and production manager.

Utilising our new record solutions and 4K matrix switchers / Atomos studio racks, we were able to create a live vision mixed record to give to our client at the end of the event along with ISO records of all cameras and content.

The event was a great success and we are always look forward to supporting Aspect with their future events.
